Through the above figure, you can find that the container details are viewed by the container, and the information obtained by the drill down is displayed in the small window of the same page.

but,If you want to drill down through the map, see more detailed map information.The way the container may not be suitable.This kind of application scenario, usually we use jump to achieve.

So how do you implement it? 

In this issue of "Give a Chestnut", Ada's Tableau skills to share with you are: Jump to see more map details.

Take "Global Order" as an example.Specific steps are as follows:

Step 1: transform geographic roles

Convert “country” to “country” through “geographical role”; similarly, convert “province” into “province/city/autonomous region” and “city” into “city”.

Step 2: the establishment of a worksheet

Double-click “Country”, “Province”, and “City” to create three worksheets for countries, provinces, and cities. In the national worksheet, drag the Country to the filter and select China.

 

Step 3:add a filter

Click Worksheet, select Actions, and select Filter in Add Action.

Click "Add Action" "Filter" again.

Step 4: through the filter to achieve jump

Next, you can filter on the map as needed.
